PlayStation has announced that the games will be coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium services for November 2022.
From 15 November, players on mid- and top-tier subscriptions get access to over 20 more games. That’s a lot to get through, so let’s jump right in.
PS Plus Extra is the middle tier that gives players access to a large library of PS4 and PS5 games to download to their consoles. Similar to Xbox Game Pass, these games go in and out, so it’s worth keeping an eye on your favourites.
Leading the pack is whole Kingdom Hearts series on PS4. It is KH 1.5 + 2.5 HD ReMIX (four games and two movies), KH HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (a full game, a short game and another movie), Kingdom Hearts III (seemingly without DLC) and KH: Memory melody (a rhythm action game).

Agree with RPGs, Bethesda’s giant The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim joins the service with both the PS4 and PS5 versions. Likewise, the 90s platformer remake Oddworld: Soulstormtactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siegetitle for space battle Driveand time manipulation puzzles The gardens all join Extra with both PS4 and PS5 options.
Other games joining this month are Division 2, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Earth Defense Force game Iron rain and Brothers of the world, Onee Chanbara Originand it was hugely acclaimed What Remains of Edith Finch. These are all PS4 games, but they will all work fine on PS5 (Edith Finch has a built-in PS5 version, but it doesn’t seem like this version is included).
PS Plus Premiumtop tier, adds hundreds more games to subscribers’ libraries, through remasters, remakes, ports, stream-only PS3 games and emulated PS1, PSP and PS2 games, while adding streaming options for games across all systems.
Unfortunately, it’s another disappointing month with no additional emulated games coming to the service, despite previous leaks. The only games being added to the Premium lineup are streamed PS3 games that were removed from the service earlier this year during the overhaul.
These games are the original Ratchet & Clank trilogy, spin-off Ratchet: Deadlocked (aka Ratchet: Gladiator) and fourth entry Destruction tools.

It’s clear that Extra gets the most attention from Sony – according to their own logic Kingdom Hearts and Skyrim remasters and Oddworld Remake should only be in Premium tier – but at only £16 more per year for its expanded catalog and streaming, Premium is still good value. However, it’s easy to see why fans are so disappointed by the lack of “new” PS1 and PSP classics, especially when they were advertised so heavily when the levels were introduced.
It’s good to note that on the day these titles join, subscribers will lose access to the following games: The mafia trilogy, GreedFall, Ride 4 and MXGP 2021.
You can subscribe to all three levels of PlayStation Plus through the PS Store. The cheapest way is to buy store credit through retailers like ShopTo.
