Max George has hit back at Ulrika Jonsson over comments she made about his girlfriend Maisie Smith.
The pair, who both competed on Strictly Come Dancing 2020, share many pictures of themselves together on social media, but Ulrika was overjoyed with Maisie posting a TikTok of herself crying, followed by one of the pair sharing a kiss.
In response to Ulrika’s comments, Max uploaded a photo of himself sticking up his middle finger in a lift mirror, with the text “Just for you Ulrika”.

The TV personality made the comments in his column i The sunwhere she admitted that she wasn’t much of a crier herself, apart from the occasional ad on TV.
“I really can’t imagine reaching for my phone in the middle of personal drama to ensure I captured my tearful moment for people to see,” she wrote.
“Surely grief, sorrow, personal trauma or grief is something private – not something you milk?
“To do what Maisie did, which was to accompany her tears with a cryptic message and dramatic music that made everyone tear their hair out with worry for her, filled with anguish – and then in a subsequent post to see the picture of her twisting her face from her boyfriend as if nothing had happened at all, is insulting. It also exploits the loyalty and goodwill of her fans, who obviously care deeply for her.”
Maisie recently attended Celebrity SAS: Who dares wins and she credits her time on the show with not only improving her own personal confidence, but allowing her and Max to talk and connect on a deeper level.
