Nigella Lawson, 62, sparks romance rumors as she snuggles with mystery suitor on cozy walk

Nine years after her toxic marriage to Charles Saatchi ended, Nigella Lawson appears to have a new man in her life.

The TV chef, 62, was seen putting on a loving display with a mystery suitor on Wednesday as they strolled the streets of Boston during her Stateside promotional tour of her new cookbook.

The mum-of-two looked in good spirits as she wrapped an arm around her handsome pal, with the pair cuddling up close before stopping for an alfresco lunch date.

Nigella looked effortlessly chic for the outing in a dark polka dot summer dress with ruffle detailing along the hem and sleeves.

She teamed the garment with a pair of sensible white loafers and large sunglasses, and completed the look by slinging a mobile phone holder across her chest.

Her handsome companion was in sync as he donned a pair of navy trousers paired with jeans and a light jacket.

The duo looked smitten with each other as they strolled down the street cuddling up close before stopping for an intimate lunch date in the sunshine.

Nigella is believed to have remained single following the highly public breakdown of her ten-year marriage to art collector Charles in 2013.

Their union ended just four weeks after he was pictured grabbing her by the throat at Scott’s restaurant in London – a celebrity hotspot frequented by the pair.

More details of the row emerged during the fraud trial of two of theirs former assistants who had been accused of using their credit cards.

Under oath, Nigella told Isleworth. The Crown Court said the row broke out when she spoke about having grandchildren, with Charles telling her “I’m the only person you should care about”.

However, the chef told the court that Charles had “told everyone” he took cocaine out of her nose after he was photographed with her neck at the Mayfair restaurant.

Other pictures, taken by freelance photographer Jean-Paul and published in a Sunday newspaper in June, showed Charles repeatedly tweaking and twisting Nigella’s nose outside the Mayfair restaurant, and also sticking a finger in one of her nostrils.

She appeared tearful throughout the exchange, but stayed with him to finish her meal.

At the time, Charles laughed off the incident as a “playful tiff” and accepted a police caution for assault, but just weeks later announced via the Mail On Sunday that he was divorcing Nigella after 10 years of marriage because she refused to defend his reputation after the publication of the photographs.

Nigella, who rose to fame thanks to her popular cookbooks and seductive presentation techniques on her cooking shows, later told how her confidence took a huge knock in the wake of the events.

The star developed a fear of being photographed in public, but with the help of her daughter Cosima Diamond, 28, she is learning to overcome her demons and find happiness again.

Cosmic is Nigella’s daughter from her first marriage to the late John Diamond. They also have a son, Bruno.

The Taste host revealed in an interview in 2019: ‘I’ve been forced to be watched. I used to be more open and I’d like to think I will be again.

‘Cosima said to me, “Mom, would you rather be a real person like you or someone who has hair and makeup to go to the supermarket? It’s better to be a real person.” She is right.’

Charles has moved on romantically with What Not To Wear host Trinny Woodall, with the pair starting dating in 2013 just eight weeks after his divorce from Nigella.

The fashion guru then told friends they are “hopelessly in love”, amid claims she was frustrated by Saatchi’s reluctance to both show affection in public and take their relationship to the next level.
